Daviess - Martin Counties Forming a CISMA

What's a CISMA, you ask? CISMA stands for Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area. CISMAs are grassroots organizations that are formed to tackle invasive species at the local level. They can help partners to prioritize invasive management, cross landownership boundaries to survey and control invasive plants, and provide local education and outreach on invasive species. A group of concerned citizens has met to begin the process of making this group a reality. If you are interested in learning more, fill out our survey here. The next planning meeting will take place at the West Boggs Park activity center in Loogootee on April 2, 2019 from 6-8 PM.
